Hi Ia,

Best of luck with 'Sydney's Song'
My début novel Sephy rides the storms, examines the often hidden phenomena of child abuse. The story tells of the strength and courage of survivors and also investigates some of the scars which may never heal.

It is a fictional story, which, at times was difficult to write. I hope it will inspire people to break the silence.

Admin reply: Fiona. This is great in raising awareness of child abuse. You're to be commended. Best luck!

I’m a descendant of one of General Marion's militia at the Battle of Cowpens during the Revolutionary War. My maternal Great-Grandmother's father scouted western Dallas, Country and was among the first 50 families to settle western Dallas, Co., Texas.
Retiring from technical writing, copy writing, media production and corporate photography, my creative writing:
CLOSED DOORS, a Trilogy:
TOXIC SITUATION, a novella - a fast-paced thriller that leads the reader from Atlanta to Australia on the hunt for stolen capsules containing a deadly avian flu virus
FAMILY SECRETS - unfolding tragedy and the discovery of the horrid truth about the secrets hidden by seemingly happy families
THRILLS AT THE ESPLANADE CINEMA - what begins as an innocent daily occurrence has the potential to become a life-ending event that stays with the protagonist
I ‘m working on an historical fiction, Boundless Honor which begins in the fall of 1835, featuring the Texas Revolution and the Trail of Tears.

Admin reply: Rich, you've been having so much fun writing! My best wishes for the trilogy and your WIP.

Hi,Hope this finds you all well.
The 21st May was the launch date of my very first childrens book Felicity Fly,based on childhood fears. The book is aimed at age 2-6 years and introduces characters, Felicity Fly, William Washing Machine,Moey Mouse, Willamena Woodlouse,Sissy Silverfish and Simon Spider. The charcaters introduce the dark, loud noices and fears of spiders. I wanted to let children know , that it is ok to have fears and not to feel alienated. The book also comes with a CD of the story, for which , I have recorded voices for all the characters with different accents. This also makes them aware , that we also have differences in speech as well as in appearance. Early indications are very positive, there will be a series of six books, which also all rhyme.

Admin reply: Very interesting Christina. Good luck!
